How It Works

A simple four step process from files to final review.

Send over the files and timeline, receive scope the same day, approve the work, and use the 30 day review window for any in scope changes.

1
Send over files and timeline Start by sending the project files, your timeline, and any notes that help define the work.
2
Receive scope the same day Ark Builds reviews the information and sends back a same day scope so you know exactly what is included before work begins.
3
Approval and work starts Once the scope is approved, the drafting work starts and moves forward based on the agreed deliverables and timeline.
4
30 day review process For 30 days, changes that stay within the original scope can be reviewed so the package can be refined without reopening the whole job.
From layout to detail

The work should move cleanly from big picture layout into the details that matter.

That usually means starting with the overall plan and carrying it through to the details the shop actually needs.

Plan drawing showing overall room layout and dimension coordination.
Plan coordination Start with the layout, the main dimensions, and how the pieces relate to each other.
Detailed die wall section drawing with dimensions and joint locations.
Build detail Then carry that intent through to the custom details that matter once production starts.
Ready to scope

Start with the project that is putting the most pressure on your team.

You do not need to over prepare it. A quick summary of the job and where the drawings are getting stuck is enough to begin.
